Just a couple of days away from the new expansion pack, there's still something to enjoy in World of Warcraft's Shadowlands expansion pack. Get the most from your gear as Blizzard has something special for WoW players. The "Creation Catalyst," a device that allows users to trade one piece of Season 3 gear for a different one, was released this week.
"The Creation Catalyst can transform one item per week, but it can store up these charges so that if you miss a week you'll be able to create two set pieces the following week, and alts or players who come along later in the season may be able to create an entire set if they have the Flux for it," the studio said.
Taking advantage of The Catalyst will take some work, though, as it takes a certain amount of cosmic flux currency to function. A "wide variety of activities" can be played to earn some currency. Blizzard added that if users don't use the Catalyst for a week, the charges would be saved and used as a catch-up mechanism later.
