Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a fantasy title from Borderlands creator 2k and gearbox. The game is a standalone Borderlands game based on the Borderlands 2 DLC Tiny Tina’s Assault of Dragon Keep. You are once again playing Bunkers and Badasses. The titular character serves as your Bunker Master and you are a character in her insanely fun game.
You can create a fully customizable character from a series of classes such as Brr-Zerrker, Clawbringer, Graveborn, Spellshot, Spore Warden, and Stabbomancer. Each class has access to guns and other types of weaponry. You also pick from four personalities that influence how your character communicates. These are Gallant, Clever, Gruff, or Strange. The Brr-Zerker blends guns with ice and melee. Clawbringer uses thunder and flames armed with a spectral hammer accompanied by a wyvern companion. Graveborn sacrifices health to use Dark Magic alongside their Demi-lich companion. The Spellshot compliments gunplay with spells to deliver devastation. Spore Wardens use arcane and nature to bombard opponents while their Mushroom Companions bellow out toxins. Stabbomancers exploit weaknesses to sneak up on enemies with speed and precision. Each class features its own feat, a passive skill, an active skill, and a skill tree to augment the character. You are also able to multi-class later in the adventure.
Tina’s insanity culminates in the big baddie called the Dragon Lord. The Dragon Lord has tried for eons to destroy the Wonderlands but has been defeated time and time again by Queen Butt Stallion and the Party of Heroes. The Dragon Lord employs a skeleton army who will try just about anything to kill the characters. These skeletons are relentless and will even chase you without a head! The forest is teeming with wildlife, some are beautiful and harmless, but some like the Shrooms will hunt you down and eat you. Pirates also inhabit Wonderland. These pirates have a taste for non-alcoholic soda and your doubloons!
This game effortlessly blends humor and fantasy for a well-rounded and entertaining adventure. The fantasy theme is augmented with guns and plenty of action. Tiny Tina’s imagination runs wild as she takes the adventurers through this captivating story! Tiny Tina’s Wonderland is out March 25th.
