The Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series and the upcoming Fallen Order sequel game are two of the most anticipated projects for Star Wars fans. However, while Obi-Wan is coming out in May, there's no real specific release window for Fallen Order 2.
Likely to be released a year apart, the two might still be tied together. Actor Ewan McGregor hinted that the next Obi-Wan Kenobi Star Wars series could connect into a possible sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order. In preparation for the Disney+ show's premiere later this month, McGregor appeared on Jimmy Kimmel this week.
During the interview, McGregor gave props to director Deborah Chow for her deep Star Wars expertise, stating that "all of the plots have to... square up," and that "you can't have some truth in a video game that doesn't match up to the movie."
It all makes sense that they would be tied together because the two take place during the same period, and both feature The Inquisitors, who were enforcers working for Darth Vader hunting down rogue Jedis. It also makes sense because Disney is currently working on a new lightsaber being sold at its parks, connected to Fallen Order 2.
