With Star Wars and Disney+ pumping out content, the window is wide open for another game. A new game is what we're going to get.
EA has confirmed that the next installment is on its way. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 is on its way either at the end of this year or the start of 2023.
Respected gaming insider Jeff Grubb revealed that EA would showcase the game in May at the Star Wars Celebration.
"We're gonna hear about that in May at Star Wars Celebration, is when that's coming. So, keep an eye out for that, because that's where it's happening. One hundred percent," Grubb said during a recent episode of the GamesBeat Decides podcast.
Grubb added that we could see the game released during Q4 just like its predecessor. With EA having already cancelled its annual EA Play event, this would be the most prominent platform they can preview Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 and get the proper attention it deserves.
It will be a massive year for Star Wars in 2022, with Obi-Wan Kenobi debuting on May 25 on Disney+ while season three of The Mandalorian set for a December 2022 release on Disney+.
