Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive just unveiled a new subscription model for GTA Online. The monthly service, known simply as GTA+, will officially launch on March 29.
With the recent relaunch of GTA V on PS5 and Xbox Series systems, Take-Two Interactive undoubtedly wants to provide new features and events to revitalize interest in the now nine-year-old title. The upcoming subscription plan will cost $5.99 a month and comes with a collection of in-game benefits.
The first month of content runs from March 29th to April 27th. Each subsequent month will feature new rewards, events, and exclusive offers for loyal subscribers. Here is a brief rundown of what to expect from the first content drop coming early next week.
1. A cash influx of 500,000 GTA dollars directly deposited into the player's maze bank account.
2. A New Auto shop property in Los Mesa. This updated property features new gameplay improvements for Los Santos Tuners. If you already own one of the game's other auto shop properties, you can relocate to the new digs at no additional cost.
3. The Principe Deveste Eight, a hyper car that originally came to GTA Online in 2019. The vehicle comes with a Hao's Special Works upgrade, the HSW Orange Trip, and HSW CMYK Glitch Liveries at no additional cost.
4. LS Car Meet Membership fees will be waived. Players who already paid into the event will be reimbursed 50,000 GTA dollars.
5. Previous yacht owners can trade up for the Aquarius Super Yacht upgrade.
6. Complimentary Gussét Frog Tee and Broker Prolaps Basketball Top and Shorts are automatically added to the player's wardrobe inventory.
7. The Mammoth Avenger, HVY APC, and TM-02 Khanjali all receive the new Conveyor Livery.
8. Triple RP and GTA dollars on Hao’s Special Works Race Series.
9. A collection of free emblems and paint jobs for the auto shop.
10. Double Car Meet Rep on the Street Race Series
Obtaining each reward is as simple as visiting Legendary Motorsport, Hao’s Special Works, Maze Bank Foreclosures, and DockTease throughout the duration of the event. Each store can be located from the in-game web browser. In addition to the above benefits, active subscribers will receive exclusive discounts on GTA Shark Cards from either the Microsoft or PlayStation digital storefronts.
