After hearing some chatter earlier in the week, Sony PlayStation made it official and revealed their revamped PlayStation Plus service. PlayStation explained how there will now be three levels of PlayStation Plus: PlayStation Plus Essential, PlayStation Plus Extra, and PlayStation Plus Premium. All current PS Now members will be switched over to PlayStation Plus Premium at no extra charge.

PS Plus Premium will off over 700 games for streaming or download, and PlayStation will update the titles frequently. PS3 games will also be available for streaming, and you'll be able to download or stream PS1, PS2 and PSP games.

"Whether it's indies, big games, or things that celebrate our heritage... all sorts of games. We are going to have all of it, and hopefully, a line-up that ticks all sorts of boxes." Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan told GamesIndustry.

The service will roll out in Asia during June, followed by North America, then Europe, and eventually worldwide. During the launch, set to be featured are Death Stranding, God of War, Marvel's Spider-Man, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Mortal Kombat 11, and Returnal.

The cost in the US will be $14.99 a month or $99 yearly for Extra, while Premium will run you $17.99 a month or $119.99 annually.
