Sony's much anticipated exclusive stray cat game has been delayed once again. "Stray" was first revealed during the PS5 reveal event and was expected to be a 2021 release but continues to look like a complicated release.

The latest release window was supposed to be spring of 2022, but now it's looking like it's pushed back until at least this summer. It's unknown what exactly is causing the delays at this time.

In "Stray," you play as a cat separated from its family and lost in a city full of "human-like machines" you need to use a drone called B-12 to find your way home. Your cat character falls into the unknown metropolis sustaining an injury at the start of the game. As you make your way through the city, you'll be solving riddles, helping city residents like looking for a musician's lost music sheets, and avoiding danger. B-12 helps you in many forms coming in as a translator, deciphering the world around you and storing vital goods in your cat backpack.

The game has reportedly been worked on since 2016. It's expected to be available on PS4, PC, and PS5.
