A story making headlines over the last couple of weeks has been the cyberattacks against big-time companies like Microsoft and Samsung. The hacker group Lapsus$ has claimed responsibility for the attacks, and according to a recent report, it's one specific member of the group responsible for most of them.

A recent story for Bloomberg highlights four cybersecurity researchers who tracked down the hacks to a 16-year-old boy living at his mom's house in England. Rival hackers allegedly published his details, including his address, on the internet.

With the information, Bloomberg went to the address and briefly spoke to the boy's mother, who had no idea about the accusations or his hacking. Those same researchers tracked down another member of the Lapsus$ group who happened to be a teenager, except this one was based in Brazil.

So far, the group has claimed responsibility for significant attacks against Nvidia, Microsoft, Ubisoft, Samsung and Vodaphone. Bloomberg suggests that the group is looking for money and fame with the attacks.
