The news was shared by famous and reliable Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR who pointed to another popular and reliable leaker, TaborTimeYT, as the source. Here are the details from ShiinaBR, who reveals he'll also be a boss on the Island.

Another significant hint regarding the Darth Vader appearance came during the Unreal Engine 5 live stream, where Twitter user polaq pointed out that there was a folder called "C3S3_VADER".
There have also been some hints that Season 3 Chapter 3 could include Chewbacca and C-3PO, but as of right now, the only firm evidence points to Darth Vader.
