Elden Ring is difficult, anyone that has played a From Software game knows that. One of the most important things to do when first starting is find the perfect weapon. There are several articles that are trending, and several details on how to get the Meteorite Staff. This staff can be found very early in the game that works well for most early to mid-game encounters. When you pair the Meteorite Staff with Rock Sling, you get a combo that can take on almost any foe.
The Meteorite Staff and the Sorcery spell Rock Sling can both be found in the Street of Sages Ruins, making this task a bit easier. This pairing goes well because the Meteorite Staff boosts the power of Gravity sorceries by 30%. Gravity sorceries include Rock Sling, Collapsing Stars, Gravity Well, Meteorite, and Meteorite of Astel.
The Meteorite Staff is so good because it is rather easy to find and has lower Intelligence requirements for those who want to use any kind of Sorcery build. The staff has an S in Int for Scaling, and an Int requirement of only 18. To put it into perspective, the Astrologer starts the game with a 16 in Intelligence. Some quick farming of wolves or fighters can earn you enough runes to hit 18 quickly. As a bonus, Rock Sling also has an Intelligence requirement of 18.
To find the Meteorite Staff and Rock Sling head over to Caelid near the Sellia Crystal Tunnel. Head into the swamp turning west until you enter the Street of Sages Ruins. You are looking for a corpse hanging from a window, there will be some poison flowers nearby, so plan accordingly. Now that you have the staff in hand, you are ready to go after the spell. Head north just above the Street of Sages Ruins Icon and Rock Sling is in a chest in an underground cellar. Now that you have both staff and spell, go start knocking down baddies!
