One of the most popular events showcasing a sneak peeks and previews of upcoming projects have been cancelled. After making their 2021 event online, EA has decided to cancel their 2022 EA Play Live event. An EA representative provided IGN with a statement.
"We love EA Play Live as it's our way of connecting with our players and sharing what’s new with all of you. However, this year things aren't lining up to show you everything on one date. We have exciting things happening at our world-class studios, and this year we’ll reveal much more about these projects when the time is right for each of them. We look forward to spending time with you throughout the year! "
Hopefully, we'll have live events and presentations for each significant release individually. Some of the games that the event would have likely featured beside the regular EA Sports lineup would have been the upcoming Dead Space remake and possibly Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2.
We would have also expected brief sneak peeks at Dragon Age 4, a new Mass Effect, Skate 4 and Rust Heart which are all expected to come out in 2023 or late.
