Tiny Tina's Wonderlands came out to some pretty solid reviews from both players and sites. However, its recent DLC hasn't gotten the same fanfare. A large group of players took to social media to complain about the DLC.
"Coiled Captors" is the first installment of a four-part DLC set part of a campaign called "Mirrors of Mystery." They all come in the $30 season pass for Wonderlands or can be bought separately for $10 each. (If you like the game, we suggest getting the season pass because it will include a soon-to-come seventh class for the game.)
While the DLC features new spaces, it's just five rooms and a shark boss. The main complaint is that it's too short when it comes to the "Coiled Captors" DLC. The DLC sees you going through new challenging battles, leading to the new shark boss fight. Once the challenge is complete, you'll get new variable chambers and a new raid boss to Chaos Chamber. It sounds like a regular DLC; however, people have expressed it's easy, the boss is just as easy, and the bonus gear is "underwhelming."
The Tiny Tina's Wonderlands subreddit was immediately flooded with complaints. "This thread is already longer than the DLC," wrote one Reddit user. The disappointment also comes because of the history regarding Borderlands DLCs which were massive and challenging.
