There's been talk regarding Call of Duty and the Nintendo Switch for years. It looks a reunion might be finally happening. An update on the Activision site reveals a page for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. It is random considering Black Ops 4's place in the linear Call of Duty timeline.
However, after the failed Wii U experiment between CoD and Nintendo, it would be very cool to see CoD return to Nintendo. What might be a glitch is being talked about as more as Black Ops 4 is the only game that appears available for Switch. Even though it hasn't happened yet, some gamers are already complaining that Black Ops 4 is the choice.
Black Ops 4 originally came out in October of 2018 on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It was a change of pace for Call of Duty fans as it was the game that had a Solo Missions mode instead of just a traditional single-player campaign mode. The lack of a campaign mode led to negative feedback during its original release.
