It's been a long time since we've had any big news in gaming and video games. But that all changes this month, with a slew of big releases and announcements scheduled for April. Here's a roundup of April's biggest news in the gaming world.

First up, we have the highly anticipated release of "God of War: Ragnarok" on April 20th. This is the latest installment in the popular action-adventure series and is one of the biggest games of the year. If you're a fan of Norse mythology, you won't want to miss this one.

In other news, "Final Fantasy XV" is getting a new update on April 11th that adds new content to the game. This includes a new dungeon, bosses, gear, and a new event called "The Royal Menagerie." So if you're still playing through Final Fantasy XV, check out the update when it comes out.

Finally, there are a couple of big announcements scheduled for this month. First, on April 15th, Nintendo will be holding a special "Nintendo Direct" presentation, where they'll likely announce some new games and updates for the Switch. And then, on April 28th, Sony will be hosting their "State of Play" event, where they'll likely reveal some new details about the PlayStation 5. So if you're interested in either of those consoles, be sure to tune in for those events.
